About the Role
Join brezel.ai in Berlin as a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, beautiful interfaces for our AI-powered SME business tools. You'll shape how thousands of small business owners interact with sophisticated market research and business intelligence. Your Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly interfaces for web applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics
- Create engaging visual assets and marketing materials
- Contribute to product strategy and feature planning
- Ensure consistency across all product touchpoints
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web app design with real world projects
- Proficiency in Figma (our primary design tool)
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic understanding of front-end development
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to typography, color, and layout
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Passion for solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions
- Fluent in English (German is a plus but not required)
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for AI/ML products or data-heavy applications
- Background in designing B2B SaaS applications
- Motion design and animation skills (Framer, After Effects)
- Experience with design tokens and scalable design systems
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard design
- Understanding of user psychology and behavioral design
- Experience with A/B testing and design experimentation
